Embroidery Hoops Updated

I decided to change up the way I did the embroidery hoops on the wall, and spread them out. Notice the lovely fireplace in the background. That was a project I was going to do with Zoe, but I think I was much more interested in it than she was. She had a few opinions about how it didn't look real enough.

The hoops on the wall are filled with Christmas wrapping paper. Here's a closeup.

I know that some of you come to my blog to see pictures of Zoe, so I will try to put up a picture of her next. We joined a new homeschool group and have been having alot of fun meeting new people! There are alot of kids ranging from ages of 1-15, and a good handful are little girls right around Zoe's age.

I did paint Zoe's face green with black eyebrows, but we decided to take it off before trick or treating, and her eyebrows are still very black in this picture.

We are still in the midst of decision making for costume ideas for this year. Zoe says she maybe wants to be a princess or witch, and I am telling her that it would be a whole lot more fun if she puts the word "alien" at the beginning of those costume ideas.

My mom made me a mobile for Christmas and we finally hung it up! I will see if I can get a picture when there is better light because this picture doesn't do it justice.

My neighbor had Hollywood Day at her house, and the kids got to dress up and walk the runway. I told Zoe that we could dress her up pretty and curl her hair, or go completely punk rock. This is what she chose:
