Lost Tooth Times Two

I uploaded this picture full-sized so it can be printed out after you click on it.
So after Zoe lost her first top tooth, her other front tooth became super wiggly, but she didn't want to pull it out. One night, we were goofing around and I asked her if her tooth had fallen out yet, and she smiled with her tooth still in her mouth, slightly crooked form being so loose. I laughed and said "Here, let me get that for you," and held out my pointer finger towards her mouth and Zoe moved towards me laughing, and my finger hit her tooth and it came flying out of her mouth onto the carpet! Now her "s" sounds sound like "th", but she can still whistle. :)

Zoe's Friends

We belong to the most awesome group of homeschooling families. The kids' ages range from about 5 - 16, and they all run around and play games together. I have never seen kids get along so well, for so many hours. And as an added bonus, us moms and dads get along great, too! Saturday, we were invited to our friend Sean's birthday party - he turned 16. The weather was beautiful, and whole families came out to share in the festivities. Here are pictures of Zoe with a couple of her friends, Megan and Gracie.

Block Poster

I have been looking for different ways to have inexpensive art and photos in our house, and came across Block Posters. I need a new toner cartridge, but I'm happy with how this turned out! This is one of my favorite shots of Zoe that I took when she was about 2. I used 16 sheets of paper for this.


Another site that is fun is called The Rasterbator (what an awful name). It will take your image and rasterize it into millions of little dots.

New Rug...and the Zoester!

1st Grade

I just my scanner working, so even though it's a little old (10/07), here is Zoe's 1st Grade picture. I scanned it full-res so it can be printed to a 5 x 7 size.

Art

Zoe and Landyn made two pieces of art for my mom as a Christmas present. They use condiment bottles to squirt paint on canvases. I think it turned out great!
